After reading those, you could also read The World of Ice and Fire, an encyclopedia which reveals a lot of information about the world of ASOIAF, Fire and Blood ( the book about the Targaryen dinasty and source for HOTD) and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which is a single book reuniting three short stories about Egg and Duncan ( Egg is Aegon V, a Targaryen king who is born 60-70 years after

So I’ve watched Game of Thrones about 4 times and am caught up with House of Dragon— but I really want to read the books (i wish i did earlier). I need help figuring out in which order to read the books because truly there’s so many. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
