Dec 16, 2013. #4. Sounds like this is similar to what I have in mind. I have a Humax Foxsat-HDR, with Raydon's firmware v4.1.2 installed (fantastic, thanks Raydon!) I want to put a new 1tb drive into the pvr, and the original 500gb, now 97% full, into an external SATA hd housing to playback existing recordings.| የχув εгоሪοсαр | Шጧзвебըծε ዣቨу ωсл |

BTW the other specs our Humax HDR Fox T2 has are: Internal space: 1TB (this is the size of the internal drive that the manufacturer supplied with this Humax HDR Fox T2) Web interface: version 1.4.1-4; Humax: version 1.03.12 (kernel HDR_CFW_3.10) recording quality: we always opt to record SD (never HD) Re crockett's comment:
Custom Firmware with Debug Kernel: - Not available for the HD Fox-T2 - This version of the custom firmware is designed for troubleshooting and contains a kernel with PRINTK support enabled. This makes the kernel larger and consume more memory than the standard one so can result in instability.Navigation is very quick and smooth, and you really get the feeling that Humax has put genuine effort into making the FOXSAT-HD as 'live-with-able' as possible. Even the remote is intuitively laid out and comfortable, if a bit cheap-looking. The FOXSAT-HD is also a very capable performer, and if you're new to HD, the high-def offerings will
The software exists because the HDR-Fox T2 uses a Linux kernel and various other pieces of Open Source software which requires Humax to make available source code for certain parts of the software. The types of problems that can occur and may be correctable with the custom firmware include: Box stuck in a loop saying "Deleting" on screen
Ex Member. Apr 6, 2013. #1. I have had my Humax HD-FOX T2 for ages and only just found out it can record via USB. I have updated it to the latest firmware and just formatted a 8GB USB stick to Fat32 to test it before ordering a larger one. It reads the stick fine but it just wont record!!!
