Yea Resident Evil got more action oriented as the series moved forward but RE 5 and 6 took it to a level of complete stupidity. They were so action oriented that they become unenyojable in my opinion. Resident Evil 3 had a good balance between horror and action, especially the original. Resident Evil 6 may not be a great "Resident Evil" game, but some people do see it as a fun game to play. That's how I felt about Resident Evil 4: Back in 2005 I felt disappointed calling it a "Resident Evil" game compared to the classics which I wanted more of, but holy shit did I enjoy playing RE4 for what it was and it was a damn good game.
